PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425

PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 came into effect on the 21 st April 2018. In light of this, audiologists and hearing aid dispensers are now required to instruct the user, document the functional test, and provide feedback to the manufacturer when fitting noise protection products. Please use our checklist and report your test results using our Hearing Protection Check Portal below to 100% PSA- conform.

Checklist

1. Instructions: Instruct users on the correct and safe usage of hearing protection. The form of training is at your discretion.

2. Check function: Carry out a function test on all users of custom-made hearing protection within 6 months of delivery. The test procedure used to carry this out is at your discretion.

3. Documentation: Document the result of both the above using our hearing protection check. We will send you confirmation of your documentation post submission.
